The Council’s main objective is to improve the independence and productivity of people with developmental disabilities and to ensure their integration and inclusion into the community.
It is DDC’s belief that persons with disabilities and their families are the decision-makers in all matters affecting their lives and that this philosophy is best demonstrated when people with disabilities are given viable choices of where they live, work, play, learn, worship and participate in daily life experience.

Please take a few minutes to fill out our needs assessment online.
The needs assessment will help us determine the areas of emphasis that have the greatest effect on the DD community and decide which priority areas the Council should focus on.
This feedback is crucial to the Council for developing our 5-year State Plan that we use to focus our resources to make the biggest impact.
