The Arkansas Governor’s Developmental
Disabilities Council supports people
with developmental disabilities in the
achievement of independence, productivity,
integration and inclusion in the community.

All society gains from full participation
of a wide variety of people. All individuals
have the right to live, work, learn, worship
and experience life as they choose. All
individuals have a right to dignity and
respect. All individuals have the right to
set their own goals, take risks in pursuit
of them and enjoy their achievements.



	The official blog of the government's Disability.gov, Disability.Blog features weekly posts from experts who answer questions and address important topics of peoiple with disabilities and their families.		The DD Council is now accepting applications for its 2012 Family Leadership Project classes scheduled for Little Rock (March through May) and West Memphis (to be announced).

	The call for Presentation Proposals for the DD Conference has been exented until May 31. Any inteterested in conducting a workshop should go the DD Conference page and click on the Call for Proporsal Package.		Check out the DD Council's monthly calendar.
