During the year the DD Council supports or conducts a number of activities which inform, educate and even entertain people with developmental disabilities and their families. Chief among these activities is the annual State DD Conference. Attended by more than 600 people with disabilities, family members, state government and not-for-profit service providers, and direct support professionals, the conference features a wide range of topics, including self-advocacy workshops and sessions designed to further the cause of individuals with developmental disabilities.
